Pretty intense website. My father Francis Xavier LaChance Sr was born 5/17/40 in Claymont, DE of Fred William LaChance and Grace Rys. My brother Charles Amiel Laverne LaChance tells me that we're part of this big tree as well. I'm afraid that I'm not versed at all on my father's side of the family. I am very interested to see if we can trace our roots back as far as you have here. Thanks for the site Larry, it's very very interesting.

Hi. Great site. My father was born and raised in Lac Megantic, Quebec. His father's name was Elzear (Albert) Lachance. I'm trying to find out if we Lachance's have any Native Canadian blood, as has been long rumored. Do you know of a Cree/MicMac/any other tribe connection? Thanks!

My grandfather, Roland LaChance was from Maine. Could he have been any relation? From what I understand he ran away from home at the age of 14 and joined the carnival and never looked back, so there is a whole side of a family that I don't know. I believe he may have been born circa 1910 or so, give or take.

Thanks for all your hard work Larry. Your site is awesome. Just starting out... My Grand Father, Perrie Severin LaChance, served in the Connecticut National Guard during WW I then made his way to Canada to marry my Grand mother Albertine Joesphine Marie LaChance, nee (Ruel). Any information or direction would be very useful. Again, THANKYOU, very interesting.

I have seen your sight and was wondering if this is my original family history. My name is Dustin Lachance. My father is Paul Lachance, and my grandfather is Herve Lachance. I know that my grandfather immigrated here from Canada some time ago, but I don't know if he is related to you or any of your family. If you know any information about this, could you please email me it?
