Found Margaret Peggy Pauck, married to Gilbert Leroy the 3rd. He is actually Gilbert L Smith the IV. His great grandmother, Nancy Carman, was a sister to my 3rd great grandfather. I know, far fetched, but still, a connection. Thanks!!

My Mother was a Pednaud and I found your site while googling my Grand Father Alphonse Francois Pednaud. I am looking to find out who his siblings were. My Grandmother is Laura Ann Latendresse. I am also looking for her siblings. How would I gather this info.

I have always been interested in learning about my family and where they came from. Thank you for all the hard work, once I return to the states I will be sure to spend more time with your website and add my family tree of Lachance's to your site.

INTERESTING STUFF! Might just be related and I had very good friends in Grade School with the last name Lachance! My great-grandfather James Bussell (5 times back) was the first white settler in Bangor, Maine (you can find that info on the Bangor History website). Many of our family are still in Maine. My grandfather's name was Myron and we started having yearly reunions two years ago.
My mom's family is from the Midwest (also from England through Virginia) and named Clark. That family also has rumors of Indian blood and my grandfather certainly looked it.
Family history is so interesting to me.

I'm a descendant of Donald Joseph Lachance and Lucille Morrisette. They had one child, my father Donald David Lachance who died last January on the 15th. Thanks for the insight.

Thanks for the great web page and info on the church. Now that I've retired, you've given me ideas on creating my own family web site.

Hey this is such a great website. When I was on trip I ran into another LaChance and she told my family that we are related to Emperor/King Napoleon. In another incident I found out that my family may be related to King Charlemagne. I was just wondering if anyone could look into these myths. =) Also I love the c vs C page. I always thought that I was not related to anyone with a lower case c but I guess it's just the family preference.

My grandmother was Edith Lacroix Ahern, born in Quebec and was a descendent of David Joseph LaCroix and I have been trying to find living relatives in Quebec City area or Montreal. I was happy to find this site, however, I am still searching for living relatives with no luck. Your site gives me hope I will find someone.

Thank you.

Your website is truly a labor of love, Larry. Thank you very much; I learned a lot about my great grandmother, Anathalie Pepin dit Lachance who married Jean Baptiste Emond 6, 11, 1850. They are my maternal great-grand parents. My mother was an Emond, daughter of Desire and Clara (Castine) Emond.
