I had a good laugh reading your entry about "you know you have Native American ancestry if your second toe is longer than the first." Of course I had to look right away, and I found that my second toe is longer than the first, but like you, I haven't come across any direct lineage as of yet confirming it as fact. I wouldn't be surprised if we do, however.

Many thanks for sharing your work with us! Wonderful web site!!

Very Best, Cindy

Hello, I have spent at least 3 hours perusing your site. It answers all the questions that my brothers and sisters are now asking. Our mum Jeanne Champagne Lachance is deceased, so is our father Henri Lachance. What a shame we didn't think of asking whilst they were with us. You have done that for us. Thank you so much. My brothers and sisters are: Gisele, Henriette, Clement, Gaetan, Michel, Raymond and Therese, all living. I could only my name and Henriette's name on your site.
Happy New Year to you all.

I did not realize I had Lachance family relatives right here in Hernando County. Small World! My Lachance family reunion recently was a smash. I will let them know about this web site. I even had t-shirts made up. Maybe I can post them somewhere with photos. Thanks again for all your time to put this site together.

This is a wonderful website, my mom was Theresa Rainville (Lachance) I always asked her all the questions but now that she is deceased it is wonderful to have this alternative to some of my questions. This is a most wonderful work in progress.

I really appreciate all the work you've done on the Lachance family and am trying to fill in my husband Jim Vachons family tree. Your research is amazing!
Thanks

This is an amazing site! I am the granddaughter of Mozart Larry Chabot. I can't believe you've traced his tree back to the 1600s. You hard work is inspiring.
