"the ninth of January, nineteen hundred eighteen, by us the undersigned priest, vicar of this parish, have buried in the cemetery of this parish, the body of Philippe Hamel, son of Fortunat Hamel and of Marie-Elise Cloutier, died the fifth at Grenville, at the age of thirty six years. Were present at the burial, Henri Lafontaine, Joseph Aime Lebrun, Joseph Alexandre Hamel, and many others who have signed with us."
