Marois
Restaurant
249 Lisbon Street
Lewiston, ME 04240
207-782-9055 |
Toni
(Marois) Orestis, owner of the restaurant after taking it over from her
father who opened it about 1919, is related to the Lachance side of the
family by marriage through the Bazinet side...at least until I determine
the rest of the line. It appears there may be more relations further back. |

Following
Mass at Sts. Peter & Paul, Roger, Adrienne (Sutton) and I went to this
absolutely fabulous restaurant in Lewiston for Lunch/Dinner. Roger had the
"Chicken with Asparagus", Adrienne thoroughly enjoyed the "Baked
Haddock" and I was treated to a fantastic, mouth watering, "Lobster
Thermador". (mind you this dish had the meat of two whole lobsters
in it).
We enjoyed the wonderful service, excellent hospitality, delicious food
and the after dinner "cordials" ... of course. If you are ever
near Lewiston, you won't want to miss Marois - it's no wonder my grandmother
ate here whenever she could. |

have had the opportunity to meet.
