Born Washington DC, June 8, 1921, Cecile and the family began the anniversary of her birth at Cecile's apartment with cards, gifts and lots' of picture taking. We all piled into three cars and headed towards the ocean where we had reservations at Aunt Catfish's on the Water ( a really great seafood resaturant in Port Orange). Robert made all the arrangements and they certainly paid off as a good time was enjoyed by all. Cecile had a rather large shrimp cocktail then sampled some of dishes served around the table. When we returned to the apartment, a special treat awaited in the community room. A special cake, prepared for the occasion was delivered, cut, served and promptly eaten, with ice cream. Cecile of course, thinks the Chef is just the "cats meow" and from the look on her face...you can imagine the thoughts going through her head.
